The data set "Deaths, total" for the World contains data from the year 1955 until 2100.
The data until 2010 are actual data. For 2015 and later the population forecast uses 4 different variants to project the population development:
Most likely development of the population
For each country, fertility rate remains constant at the level estimated for 2005-2010
Fertility rate is projected to remain 0,5 children below the fertility in the medium variant
Fertility rate is projected to remain 0,5 children above the fertility in the medium variant
Number of deaths over a given period. Refers to five-year periods running from 1 July to 30 June of the initial and final years.
